A red suede jacket with a tie waist is a rare thing — soft shape, strong colour. Wide black trousers underneath give it a long, clean line, and brown suede trainers pick up the texture without competing.

A red suede pencil skirt could go several ways. A crisp white shirt sends it firmly towards polished — the texture stays interesting, the shape stays disciplined.

A boxy white top and black wide-leg trousers is as reduced as an outfit gets. It works because of the proportion — volume above, volume below, and a very fine sandal to keep the line from going heavy.

A draped red one-shoulder top over a black satin midi is a straightforward occasion outfit that doesn’t need a dress. The asymmetry does the work at the top, the satin does it at the bottom.

The layer that makes jeans look like an outfit.
A printed kimono in browns and rust over a black cami and wide jeans — nothing underneath is doing anything unusual, and that’s the point. The kimono is the whole look, and it takes four seconds to put on.
